At Cutest, we run our studies using the latest technology in dermatological testing. Our equipment includes:
VISIA: measures surface and sub-surface skin parameters such as: wrinkles, spots, brown spots, red spots, UV spots, texture, pores and porphyrins. The VISIA can also tell us the skin age of volunteers.
EvaFace: evaluates changes in lines and wrinkles, eye bag volume, jawline sagging, cellulite and more with extreme precision. It uses 3D imaging to look at the depth and volume of wrinkles in areas such as crows feet.
Visioscan: measures smoothness and roughness of skin's texture.
Tewameter: measuring device for the assessment of the trans-epidermal water loss. This parameter provides information on the strength of the skin's barrier function.
Cutometer: measures elasticity and firmness.
Colorimeter: determines the colour of skin and hair in the colour space and is intended for assessing the efficacy of cosmetic products.
Mexameter: measures melanin and erythema in the skin.
Sebumeter: measures changes in sebum levels on the skin.
Dermatoscope: produces high resolution photography of pigmentation.
Aquaflux: a closed chamber TEWL system, enabling barrier function to be measured in smaller areas than previously such as the lips.
Skin pH meter: measures the acidity or alkalinity of any aqueous solution.
